Bavaria Digital Technik GmbH, Pfronten, Germany

"TEST-OK offers an excellent price-performance ratio compared to traditional bed-of-nail adapters."

Bavaria manufactures a wide range of PCBs and is able to respond flexibly to extensive demands and dynamic batch sizes. The company's strength lies in the field of highly complex assemblies with a large number of different electronic components. All products meet strict quality guidelines and are produced according to IPC-A-610 Class 2 and Class 3. Constant quality and guaranteed reliability are key factors for success in this market and the functional test system of TEST-OK supports Bavaria in its efforts to meet these high standards.

An important reason for BDT's choice for TEST-OK is the high price-performance ratio of TEST-OK compared to traditional bed-of-nail adapters. Where conventional bed-of-nails only take care of the mechanics for functional testing, TEST-OK offers an integrated system of mechanics, hard- and (test) software which enables our customers to incorporate an additional test method in their general test procedures.

Another outstanding factor is the large number of pre-programmed functions that TEST-TRACK provides. BDT makes use of the analog and digital in- and outputs of TEST-TRACK as well as of the available communication interfaces like SPI and UART. TEST-TRACK offers data storage and track-and-trace of completed tests, and possibilities for the reporting and labeling of product features and measured values.

In addition to various types of testing methods, Bavaria implements the TEST OK system for testing of complex products with product batches ranging from 5 to 50 per year. BDT has implemented two TEST-OK Modules so far, and plans to develop and install six more.
