TOK 9780 Series - Peripheral Hook Pin
- Place along an edge of the unit under test (UUT) to position it.
- Typically used when insufficient space is available for FAST-LOCKs.
- Mushroom shape prevents the UUT from being pushed upwards by the force of the test probes.
Peripheral hook pins are used in the same way as peripheral positioning pins: to position the UUT on the positioning board. But because of their shape they will also hold the UUT in place during testing. They are mainly used when insufficient space is available for a FAST-LOCK unit.
Please note that these pins may not be placed on opposite sides of the UUT, as this will make it impossible to position the UUT.
